"In 1996 a small, independent film called “Driven” was released with no fanfare at all. It starred, among others, Whip Hubley, a young actor best known for playing the fighter pilot nicknamed Hollywood in “Top Gun.” But then a twist came along that would strain believability even in a Hollywood movie.
