The MEA Film Fest

We have just returned from New Mexico and the 2025 MEA Film Fest.  Held at a stunning high desert compound near Santa Fe, it was a wonderful experience for us and the film.  MEA, known as the Modern Elder Academy, is the brainchild of visionary entrepreneur Chip Conley.  With his soulful, life-changing seminars and retreats, Chip’s MEA has been at the forefront of changing perceptions about aging all over the world.

We were there because of one of our performers, writer/actor/activist Dezbaa' hooked us up with Chip believing the themes explored in ROAD TO EVERYWHERE fit right into the wheelhouse of MEA.

This is a place for intimate and soulful dialogue about life and movies, and that’s exactly what we experienced.  Chip himself hosted our Q and A, and brought all of his “out of the box” thinking to the table.  Robert Mirabal and Dezbaa' joined us on stage. These evenings can be a gift for us and the movie, and this one was very special.  A truly memorable experience.
